Uzondi - Turn Around ft. Nkosingiphile Braveman Zondi, Bonginkosi Brian Motloung & Celumusa Zuma

“Ku-Late Ku-Late” feels like uZondi switching the mood from serious storytelling to something made for movement. Sitting at number ten on Into Yamahhala, the 4:29 song was released with the rest of the album on June 13, 2025. The best clue to its atmosphere comes directly from uZondi’s official audio description, where the track is presented as one “for the road,” tied to the feeling of a long weekend and people travelling back home. That immediately makes “Ku-Late Ku-Late” sound less like a private confession and more like the kind of Maskandi record meant to accompany a journey.

That road-trip character gives the song a different flavour within Into Yamahhala. Earlier tracks such as “Uhambe Wrong!” and “It Will End In Tears” carry titles loaded with relationship tension, while “Qondanisa” turns toward fashion and self-expression. “Ku-Late Ku-Late,” by contrast, arrives with an easier social energy, creating room for driving, conversation and the anticipation of getting home. The repeated phrase in the title has a natural hook-like quality, helping the name stay in your head even before considering the full lyrical message. It is a good reminder that uZondi’s album is not locked into one emotional lane but moves between personal issues, humour, lifestyle and cultural experience.

Fans looking for uZondi Ku-Late Ku-Late, Maskandi road music or standout songs from Into Yamahhala should also note an important credit detail. The official YouTube-generated release names Bonginkosi Brian Motloung, zondi">Nkosingiphile Braveman Zondi and zuma">Celumusa Zuma alongside uZondi, but Amazon Music publicly lists “Ku-Late Ku-Late” simply under uZondi, without “feat.” billing. Those additional names are therefore better treated as contributors unless a platform explicitly identifies them as guest performers. What remains clear is the track’s purpose: “Ku-Late Ku-Late” brings a travelling spirit into the album and feels made for the road when home, friends and a long weekend are waiting ahead.
